The PTO hosted Animal Adventures at the TES on Thursday November 16th. Over 500 families attended the event to learn about different mammals and reptiles. Ed Laquidara, the owner of Animal Adventures gave an animated and entertaining presentation. His show included a King snake, alligator, alligator snapping turtle and a python over six feet long. One lucky audience member even got to feed a banana to a lemur. One of the last animals shown was a Binturong from Borneo! At the end of the show everyone had the opportunity to pet the crocodile and ask questions. Everyone enjoyed the show and hopefully learned a few things too!
Our bake sale that night was also a huge success thanks to the numerous parents who made delicious desserts and donated drinks. Also a huge thanks to all the parents who volunteered the night of the event!
Hood caps fundraiser was off to a slow start but with everyone's participation hopefully we can improve.
